Last updated: June 13, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Dexter’s website, waitlist, early-access program, and related services.

Dexter is currently operated by its founding team. We are in the process of incorporating a legal entity before public launch. For questions, contact us at contact@dexterai.org.

By accessing or using Dexter’s website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.

1. About Dexter

Dexter is an AI-powered desktop assistant and creator tool designed to help streamers manage livestreaming workflows. Depending on enabled features and connected accounts, Dexter may assist with stream controls, chat moderation, viewer activities, analytics, stream health insights, voice or text commands, and related creator workflows.

Dexter is currently in pre-launch and early-access development. Features may change, break, be limited, or be removed as we test and improve the product.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to legally agree to these Terms. If you are under the age required to use online services in your jurisdiction, you may only use Dexter with permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts and connected services

Dexter may allow users to connect third-party accounts or tools, including Twitch, OBS, Discord, Telegram, YouTube, and other creator platforms.

You are responsible for:

  • having permission to connect and control those accounts or tools
  • complying with the terms and rules of each third-party platform
  • reviewing actions taken through Dexter
  • keeping your login credentials and connected accounts secure

Dexter is not responsible for third-party platforms, their availability, their rules, or actions they take on your accounts.

4. User responsibility

Dexter may suggest, automate, or help perform actions, but you remain responsible for your stream, content, chat, accounts, moderation decisions, and commands.

You should review important actions before relying on them. Dexter may make mistakes, misunderstand commands, fail to act, or produce incorrect outputs.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Dexter to:

  • break any law, regulation, platform rule, or third-party terms
  • harass, abuse, threaten, bully, dox, impersonate, or target any person or group
  • generate, promote, or distribute hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, illegal, or harmful content
  • automate actions in a way that violates the rules of any connected platform
  • interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, copy, resell, or misuse Dexter, its systems, APIs, or infrastructure
  • upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or content intended to damage or access systems without permission
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to Dexter, other users’ accounts, connected accounts, servers, databases, or third-party services
  • use Dexter in a way that damages Dexter, its users, third-party platforms, or livestreaming communities

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe these Terms are being violated.

6. Waitlist, early access, and founding streamer program

Submitting a waitlist form, early-access form, founding streamer application, or hiring application does not guarantee access, acceptance, employment, partnership, payment, equity, or any specific benefit.

Any special founder-program, creator-program, partnership, or long-term benefit will be discussed separately with selected participants and may require additional written terms.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Dexter may offer paid plans, subscriptions, trials, or usage-based pricing in the future. Pricing, billing terms, refund terms, and cancellation terms will be provided before purchase.

Do not include payment card details or sensitive payment information through general website forms.

8. Intellectual property

Dexter’s website, brand, design, product, software, text, graphics, logos, and related materials are owned by Dexter’s founding team or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or exploit Dexter’s materials except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit, stream, or create. However, when you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, or application responses, you allow us to use them to improve Dexter without owing compensation.

9. Privacy

Your use of Dexter is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

You are responsible for reviewing and following the terms and policies of any third-party services you use with Dexter.

11. Disclaimers

Dexter is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that Dexter will always be available, accurate, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

AI systems may produce incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or unexpected outputs. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to rely on Dexter’s outputs or actions.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dexter and its founding team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the website or services.
